It's time for a Worcester that works for everyone — and I am ready to fight for it.
Worcester is my home. For too long, our leadership has prioritized corporate interests over the people who live and work here. As a public health professional and working-class renter, I've seen how rising rents, underfunded services, and backroom deals have left too many of us struggling to stay afloat. We need real leadership that fights for working people, not powerful developers and the political establishment.
Meet Cayden!
I'm running for City Council At-Large because I love this community and believe in its future.
I grew up in a small town in Maine in a working-class family, where I learned the value of hard work, humility, and community. Nearly a decade ago, I moved to Worcester to attend Clark University — and never looked back. Falling in love with Main South, I chose to stay and build a life in District 4 as a middle-income renter and dedicated community advocate. As a first-generation college student, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Community Development. This background led me to a career in public health, where I have worked extensively in harm reduction, policy advocacy, and coalition-building.
My work is focused on making communities healthier and more equitable, ensuring that public policy reflects the needs of the people it serves. I am a proud, openly trans man. I am deeply committed to equity, accessibility, and representation in government. I believe in a Worcester where working people, renters, and historically marginalized communities have a real voice in decision-making. When I'm not working to create a more just and inclusive city, you can find me enjoying live music, tending to my plants, drinking coffee, and hanging out with my cat, Pumpkin.
